CJI Project Managed the development of a plan for bus rapid transit services along the upgraded BC Highway #1 30 kilometre corridor between Coquitlam and Langley. Details of the Plan were prepared by Bunting & Associates and included service concepts for a number of reliable bus rapid transit routes that would access Highway#1. The Plan also investigated terminus options, station locations and station layouts which included park and ride requirements. 

The Plan provided BC Ministry of Transportation’s Gateway Project Team, which is responsible for the current expansion of Highway #1, with a plan to accommodate buses and bus stations with the construction of the widened highway and bus only facilities.
