Yukon Port Access Study
CJI assisted KPMG with the identification of a port facility to be acquired by the Yukon Government to provide better import and export access of commodities and provisions. CJI undertook a transportation analysis, of the access from the Yukon to eight ports in Alaska and British Columbia. The purpose of this analysis was to facilitate the transport of Yukon commodities to international destinations. This involved an assessment of existing and planned public roads and railways within the Yukon and British Columbia and the optimum routing of concentrate of commodity haulage to available ports.
