South Fraser Perimeter Road Project Scoping

The South Fraser Perimeter Road, currently under construction, runs for 42 km on the south bank of the Fraser River and connects the Roberts Bank port facilities with Highway #15 and the pacific border crossing. Prior to commencing with the development of the South Fraser Perimeter Road project, the BC MoT asked CJI to undertake an overview of the construction risks and likely costs of the facility. CJI had been involved in previous planning of the perimeter road and was able to undertake the overview with knowledge of the conditions and environmental constraints.

Scope of Services:

  • Developing an overview of future construction requirements,
  • Developing a layout of intersection and interchange requirements,
  • Estimating the likely costs of the future facility.
