RAV Rapid Transit

TransLink conducted feasibility and development studies to determine the alignment location, scope, and risks for implementing the 22 km rapid transit line. The alignment runs through densely populated areas of downtown Vancouver to the Vancouver International Airport and Richmond Town Centre.

Scope of Services:

  • Provided technical management services to TransLink on scoping, location, and operational studies,
  • Undertook lender’s advisory services for a consortium of European banks led by HSBC financing the Bombardier consortium on the $2 billion public-private partnership project,
  • Carried out reviews of the design and construction plans, together with the OMR strategies for operating trains over a 30-year operating period.
